22nd May Badger on road near Laga.

19th May Misty clearing to sunshine late morning. Robin regularly around table, pied wagtail and dunnock also today. Corncrakes still calling.

17th May Misty. Pair of siskins at table.

16th May Low cloud, damp. Robin now also visiting bird feeding area.

14th May Warm and sunny. Eagle over Loch Mudle woodland. Badger footprints on forestry track. Green hairstreak butterflies in same location.

12th May Overcast and cooler, wind from north-east. 5 greenfinches at table.

11th May Very warm and sunny, cool in evening with wind rising from east. 2 Pine Marten playing on road in regen area.

9th and 10th May Hot still and sunny, temp in low 20s.

8th May Sunny with warm breeze.

Since the bird table was put up 10 days ago the number and variety of visitors is increasing. Chaffinches, 5 goldfinch, 4 greenfinches, blue and great tits and a starling so far.

3 corncrakes calling round house. Tawny and barn owls also calling.

4th May Bright and clear in morning, overcast and wet later. Small flock of geese passed NW low over sea.

1st May South-easterly gale.
